Illustrator/Photoshop
I have always been interested in Digital Art, but it wasn’t until the Fall of 2004 that I first came in full contact with it. I had used programs like Photoshop before, but I often found myself stumbling around not knowing how to use the more advanced functions. Luckily I was able to pick them up quickly in my courses, and I was producing artwork in no time! At first I solely relied on Photoshop to do all my coloring and design, but as soon as I was introduced to Illustrator (and after much fussing with the program) I grew to love both programs equally. I remember at first I disliked the functionality of Illustrator, and often questioned my professor why I would need to use such a tool, but within the graphic designing courses he showed me many wonderful things and I have never looked back since. Recently I have also been using Painter X and OpenCanvas for tablet related digital art (great for creating traditional art looking backgrounds and scene settings).
Most of my Digital Art has a Japanese Animation (Anime) influence to it, but I also do stylized designs as well. I can create logos, concept art, character designs, print illustrations, backgrounds, and much more!
